Event: Terror Australis

Book Online

Terror Australis is a live art cabaret that explores the sinister side of Australia.

Welcome to a sunburnt country where cars rule, hitchhiking kills and dingoes eat babies. In the outback, no one can hear you scream and things are never quite as they seem.

This deranged outback nightmare is performed by psycho-siren Leah Shelton, known for her internationally touring work with Polytoxic dance theatre and a hot Las Vegas stint in Spiegelworld’s acclaimed production of ‘Vegas Nocturne’.

Shelton’s premiere solo work is a surreal dark comedy exploring the paranoia that lies deep within the Australian colonial psyche. True tales of outback terror collide with iconic Oz pop-culture references, jewel-encrusted gore, lip sync, sweat and beer.

Part live art happening and part cabaret, TERROR AUSTRALIS is a wild, irreverent, hyper-physical mess of dark comedy, anti-burlesque and cynical pole dance.
